does Cher Lloyd deserve a second chance?

Featured Replies

possibly one of the most interesting and talented to ever come out of a reality show.

she had great songwriting skills, a beautiful, unique voice and two labels that never gave a damn outside of Want U Back.

she's literally only 32.

stream her magnus opus here:

I would like to think so; it is a shame Epic/Syco ruined it all for her, though.

love her but she's truly a product of the early 2010's idk how she'd fit into the current musical landscape

Very much a product of her time but I'd love to be proven wrong!

She had lots of potential and I loved her when she was just starting out, but then they gave her lots of corny songs. :rip:

Nothing against her but every time I see her name that atrocity Swagger Jagger come to mind. They really doomed her from the start dd.

No. Her time has passed.

What makes her different from that Little Mix member? She can make cheap bubblegum pop too, Want U Back is still a smash!

I completely blocked that out of my memory, like was thinking what I actually know her from and could only remember the Becky song and I wish other than her albums

LM's members talent for starters, no point of comparison on that one

Those corny songs matched her vibe though. I don't mean that in a bad way -- I loved her

OMG yes!

"Sirens" should have been huge

Yes. She had more star quality than a lot of her peers (and most of current pop girls), it was all down to mismanagement.

She's a talented vocalist with the charisma to deliver a bop but her credits are full of the typical Swedish writers you'd expect from that time.

It was a fun era but I think we can move on from that type of artist. Unless she can pull off some interesting reinvention, we're kinda fine without Cher Lloyd in the mainstream.

Yall act like people are only capable of singing one genre :skull:

Why not? I think literally any artist can have a come back with the right song. Even Katy.
