sorry but Katseye is just another K-pop adjacent group. they're literally dime a dozen nowadays. Fifth Harmony was a iconic hot mess but they had actual hits and they actually did sound great together

They seem like one of those "popular on the internet" types. 

Katseye is literally one year old, and they've already amassed a fanbase, just give them some time. They have way more potential than fifth harmony ever had when they started. Once they get better music that matches their skills, they'll soar.

i love fifth harmony to death but let's not lie here. Normani and Camila aren't "great vocalists", and Megan and Daniella are better than Lauren despite being dancers first. And Lara and Sophia are literally on Dinah and Ally's level. Lara might actually be better than them because that girl has an insane range and agility. Also these girls are in complete harmony most of the times unlike 5h. Being "off key" in one performance isn't anything when you're dancing that hard, plus 5h have had a lot of those offkey moments. Y'all are letting nostalgia cloud your judgement.

There is no way Lara is out singing Ally nor Dinah. There are only 2 members ( Sophia ) who can sing from Katseye and the rest are just glorified dancers. Dancing can be "trained" but having good vocals cannot

I'm not lying? It's just my opinion. Normani might not be the most impressive vocalist out there when it comes to range but I really like the tone of her voice. And Camila has her moments. I've seen videos from her tour and she's really improved a lot

Im not questioning your music preference because that's yours, and I honestly prefer 5H's music too as Katseye haven't gotten the quality of music that they deserve. I'm just refuting your statement where you said all of fifth harmony are great vocalists that's why you prefer them while giving an example of "off key" performance of Katseye, when in reality Katseye has great vocalists too and 5h also has had plenty offkey performances in their career.

I have listened to 3 KATSEYE songs because I loved Gabriela and the performance video but yeah, they don't particularly make good music, even though they are still debuting I think? They feel like the typical girl group we have seen in the past years, they don't stand out. Lara has a lot of potential though, she is very charismatic.

 

Fifth Harmony might be a mess but they're funnier to follow and they had better music (BO$$ alone >>>).

The ones that actually do have talent. Katseye blows 5H out of the water on basically every aspect 

Why do 5H constantly get praised as if they were a revolutionary girl group. If they didn't have WFH no one would remember them. They had 2 WW hits, bad performances and terrible tours. I saw them in Nottingham in the UK in 2016 and the tickets were heavily reduced as they barely sold them. 
 

Before you come at me for being a LM stan, I actively liked and supported 5H at the time. I support all girl groups. 
 

Katseye will blow 5H out of the water and will be a revolutionary gg who will be the first to westernise K-pop practices in music and performances.

It depends on what you're looking for.
If you prefer something very K-pop–style, with precise choreography and highly polished music videos, then Katseye is for you.
If you'd rather have a bit more natural vibe and find it easier to connect with the members, then Fifth Harmony is the better choice.

You missed several chapters. She got a vocal coach (Eric Vetro) at the start of C,XOXO and got rave reviews for her vocals in Asia. She knows how to sustain a note and having resonance on her vocals now. Including utilizing her lower register, not resorting to her "chipmunk" voice she's been using the past few albums. As someone who watches her for a long time, her improvements are quite insane. The entire Yours, C Tour is living proof of just how far she's come vocally.

 

 

Katseyes are lightyears more talented, way better performers, better vocalists, dancers and even have way more chemistry.

 

Sure 5th harmony have bigger hits (just two) but i can see Katseye getting hits in the future and their tours will be bigger.

The only thing these two groups have in common is that they're girl groups.

 

KATSEYE are better performers and have more charisma, they are better dancers and look more cohesive together.

 

5H has better vocalists imo, although Lara and Sophia are both good too and still young enough to improve even more.

 

5H has better music but that's an unfair comparison considering KATSEYE hasn't even release their debut album yet and have only a handful of songs out there, so they have the opportunity to surpass 5H with the right material. 

At the same point of their career Katseye shows more promise.
