The thing is the current generation (gen Z + alpha) does not need mega superstars like the ones you mentioned. Everyone is trying to find curated niche artists. It's not the same formula anymore as it was back in the day. What is seen as cool, is something scarce and underground. We have so many black artists that are just that.
