What are some creepy pokedex entries that gave you the creeps?

I just recently learned about Wobbuffet's  tail...

Quote

Wobbuffet's black "tail" is actually its real body, housing its brain and eyes, while the large blue/purple body is a decoy designed to inflate as a protective measure against predators. This tactic is a result of evolutionary pressure to protect the vulnerable main body, making the tail's presence in battles a strategy to absorb attacks and even trigger a counter

This entire time his body is a decoy. :storm:

not necessarily creepy but

One of the most popular Pokémon around, possibly due to its ghastly similarities to Pikachu, Mimikyu also has tragic backstory to match its Ghost-type. This creature's entry in Pokémon Moon, as recorded by Bulbapedia, mentions that it is lonely and has to conceal its menacing true form to be able to approach people and other Pokémon. The entry in Pokémon Sun says that Mimikyu's real appearance in Pokémon is so terrifying it killed a scholar from shock.

The fact that Mimikyu has to disguise itself and hide what it really is in order to receive any ounce of love and affection is the real horror story, however. Mimikyu has no control whatsoever over its appearance and what it is, and being forced to wear a disguise to fit in the Pokémon franchise is the obvious source of its misery.

Mega Tyranitar's entry makes my skin crawl every time:

Due to the colossal power poured into it, this Pokémon's back split right open. Its destructive instincts are the only thing keeping it moving.

How is that creepy? It's a very original concept.

Because in the anime they never talked about it. This entire time they made you believe what you see is what it is.

The animators rarely adhere to Pokédex or game info anyways. You can find instances of Ash effortlessly lifting pokemon such as Larvitar, which is officially listed as weighing like 100kg, or riding a Magcargo, whose body is said to be hotter than the sun.

In general, Pokédex entries are best viewed as fun trivia rather than information to be taken literally

I still think it would be something the animation would touch on especially with it being one of team rocket mascot. The way Jessie would abuse him consistently, james or meowth would have told her that. I dunno i was just shocked when I read it. Then again the entries might have changed since the debut of Wobbuffet.

Not that I know of.

Spoink bounces around on its tail. The shock of its bouncing makes its heart pump. As a result, this Pokémon cannot afford to stop bouncing - if it stops, its heart will stop.
