Why fans chose that god awful Criminal as the single which killed the whole era, Inside Out may have not been a hit either but we probably would have gotten a great MV

Masterpiece, I voted for Inside Out, but I like Criminal! I Wanna Go is AWFUL.

Criminal is the superior single and I'm glad the Britney Army chose the Dr Puke free track, and there's that.

 

But Inside Out is still good and I've fantasized and visualized how its music video could have been. Femme Fatale feels like an era packed with hits but the way it could have been 10 times bigger with that material... It's always about wasted potential with Britney

Criminal is even worse? What did it do for Britney's career or FF? all it gave us was a corny and dated video with Britney's cheating ass ex I can't even watch My Prerogative cause of Kevin

I know she was forced to record FF and probably hates it, but its a banger of an album.  Bop after bop.

I disagree + the melody and the flute are instantly recognizable + numbers speak for themselves = Criminal is a classic which got a TikTok moment (if I recall correctly) and resonates with younger generations, but this is an Inside Out thread and it should remain that way. You Inside Out stans should be trying to make it viral if you think it had such insane potential. Now old songs can get viral for the weirdest reasons.

 

And as much as I hate seeing her exes on her MVs I actually prefer that over having them all over her songs like other pop girlies do. I listen to My Prerogative or Criminal and I don't think of them at all.

Some songs were recorded the summer of 2009 when things were little better for her compared to the awful 2010 year when the conservativorship became permanent and they forced her with so many drugs. The deluxe songs of femme fatale had the style that britney wanted for the album (don't keep me waiting, he about to lose me,scary). Still this was her last good album for me.far better than the boring and monotonous glory album..
