Yup another smash hit from the album of the year 2025

Didn't have Tame Impala becoming a MPB radio darling on my 2026 bingo card lol. Im a huge fan of him, but I thought Dracula was a fluke. His prior attempts at pop hits (with Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa) never gained much traction. It's so interesting that it's all aligning for him now

This is mainly because of the Spider-Man film effect, but I'm glad that Columbia is capitalising this to US radio. That said, "Loser" is already at #7 on Spotify US, so this is going to be interesting to see when full promo comes in.

As a side note, there's already a banner from New Music Server which says that this is impacting now, but it doesn't specify the radio formats. Tame Impala's US core formats are Alternative and Triple A, while he has also experienced some success in Pop and Hot AC with "Dracula" lately, so let's see how Columbia takes full effect on it.

I mean, Houdini and Training Season gained a lot of traction and Gaga pretty much ruined the song so yeah
