I feel like the strong reception this album gets + word of mouth will help its longevity regardless of a hit or not. If she came into these recording sessions wanting to make a classic album, then the quality should speak louder than numbers, which I'm certain it will. The rest will probably fall into place later.

It's all really ballsy…featureless and releasing an album without a hit.  They moving like they feel confident.  Idk whether to feel excited or nervous LOL.  
 

Even them moving it to #1 on TTH feels like….idk, its just not a move I would expect.  Thought they would've at least put out another promo single yesterday. 
 

 

this album will be her best album yet, it's very clear that's what its shaping up to be. 

 

all the snippets sound promising and the songs we've heard in full are even better. she'll do just fine.

i think she needs to drop another track before the release to ramp up interest since JT didn't exactly smash

she's really the biggest risk-taker out of anybody out right now in the pop world... i'm just glad we're getting the album so soon after all this time! 

I guess since they didn't drop any buzz single that they're going all out for Gorgeous. Hopefully the music video ignites massive interest for everything else...

I NEED a video for "Cards" with CHOREO.  It would be the biggest missed opportunity if she doesn't. She better lean into all her strengths + stop playing lol.

She always gives the album opener a video so I think she'll get there eventually. I hope RCA isn't going to halt budget for videos after JT underperformed bc they've usually been generous with how many videos she gets per album previously... even tho the budget is definitely more than it was during the start of Hot Pink lol. Like I'd hate if the only way we'll be getting more mvs is if something catches fire on TikTok... but I can see them pulling that **** too so idk!

 

I'm selfishly hoping Lipstain sneaks its way into becoming the new sexy winter hit ala Streets but I wouldn't be mad if Cards also caught on. 

 

Also, moreso shocked they didn't toss Take Me Dancing out there to see if it would do anything, it sounds veryyy catchy ngl. 

I'm shocked they didn't drop a promo single, it's the first time she'll drop an album with only one single out. Idk if it's a good decision cause it's more difficult to get post-album hits.. i also hope this doesn't mean we only get 2 music videos from this era. I hope there's some type of live session she can drop during the first week.. this rollout has been pretty quiet, i need a lot of content during the first week at least. Something to create more hype during this week would be good too.. I hope AAHHH MEN gets a video too, that could be an halloween classic if it drops at the end of october

Gorgeous is easily my least favourite based on snippets but songs I don't like usually do well (look at Agora Hills).

I'm personally nervous of the fact that there won't be a song even 1/3 as good as Agora Hills.

Still think it's promo single.  Probably also dual purpose to promote her MAC partnership too.

according to her (who is a serial troll), it's just a placeholder

Honestly it's smart to unveil the variants first and then the official cover because the official one is always what people are most likely to buy in physical form, and fans who have already bought the variants are more likely to buy one more copy just to have the official cover in their collection. I can see more artists following this suit in the future.

i think it all comes down to the fact that she seems to really love this album, more than i have ever seen her love a project before.

that alone tells me this is very different but high quality and idk, maybe they trust that the music will always hit/find its audience if you let it, which is the best way you could ever approach creative arts.

I actually like her rollout. You can just tell she's incredibly confident of this album as an artistic feat, and that's honestly all I want.
