I have the day off today and I'm just staring at my feet which is full of blisters and I'm just thinking about how crazy it is that I've been drinking alcohol almost every night  since I started this new job.

It disturbs me that I'm making peanuts compared to the CEO who is raking in millions at my expense

I've never wanted to be an MPG  more than right now.

Nope, I'll never enjoy working. Not even being an entrepreneur or owning a business. Just give me money. F the labor

I mean… I don't hate my job. I have fun sometimes, and even the stressful parts aren't really that bad. Do I wish I was independently wealthy or able to live well while doing some sort of travel tv show? Sure. I guess it's all relative.

I do like mine... In the end it's all about your skills, the market and your will to take a leap of faith and switch.

I like mine, it is aligned with my values and I get to use my skills... Do I hate some aspects of it? Yes. Would I like to make more money? Also yes.

but I have faith that it will come in time

I love my new job, yes. I'm, technically, still in the honeymoon phase but I've seen enough to know it's worlds better compared to where I was and what I was doing before. I'm happy I made that switch. For the first time in ages, I'm happy to get up to go to work and be there. Even if I'm a little tired and don't feel like getting out of bed immediately upon waking.

I just started a new job and it's a lot more positive. It's a bit more taxing in terms of travel but people are nice and genuinely want to thrive as a team.

I hated my last one. Just a toxic environment with work politics and scummy individuals.

Not sure what exactly you do, but I genuinely believe there is always something for you out there. You just might need to search for it or it will come to you when you least expect it.

Also if anything I've learned to not compare myself to other individuals like you're CEO. You'll just go down a downward spiral otherwise. Worry about yourself only. Invest time in developing yourself.

It's decent, but there are always things I'd rather do than work

I try to separate the obligation to work to survive (which will never be a good thing for me) from the more positive aspects like meeting people, learning skills etc

Absolutely hate my job and the customers are the worst.

Period!

Spoiler

Wish you well!

Not so much but I'm fine with it. Customers, some are nice, others are rude 🥴

I just try to do my best and bye.

i'm kind of a nepo baby, and it sucks feeling like i didn't earn my title

i hate the job, i hate working for my parents' company, and i hate that i'm back in my hometown while all of my friends moved abroad

i have it so easy, but i still hate it

I appreciated my current job. it's pretty easy money compared to the previous ones that i had.

One thing i love the most is I don't take any homework. I stress and complaint less.

If it's not oral or hand, any other job is not enjoyable I fear.

I just got laid off because the school ran out of money and I did....

No, I hate it, and any form of employment, sick of it all.

Hate being around people,

hate the travel to work via public transport,

hate having to fake being happy to make it through the day,

hate forced conversations with colleagues,

hate the drama/gossip colleagues cause even when I don't talk to them,

hate employers being on my case for no reason when I KNOW I do my job well while others don't,

hate co-workers making **** up on me,

hate working so hard for measly pay,

I WFH from 24/7 and as much as it sounds like a dream....my mental health has collapsed

Omg this was me at my previous job. Lasted 12 months and when the contract ended I jumped ship. Now I'm hybrid 2 days WFH and I chose Monday and Friday. So much better.

OP: Each job I have had since being in corporate has been slightly better with slightly more pay so I guess I'll keep doing that. I work for a huge company now but have a lot less responsibilities as there are 7 people on my team compared to just myself in a previous job. I'm hoping someone in the team leaves in a year or so so I can move up.

I don't like working though and think I could fill my time up with other things if I was wealthy enough to do so…

I'm working part time now and it's bearable. I need to return to full-time sooner or later tho and it scares me because my last full-time job destabilized me mentally. It was stressful like having an exam at school for 8 hours everyday
