So, with the recent news that Taylor finally bought her old masters back and the probable cancellation of Reputation TV, I've been listening to the album again and I omg it is honestly so underrated within Taylor's discography.

 

Nonetheless, I do have to say that it's hard to listen to the whole thing in full, as the first half of the album is so much better than the second one, with the very first few songs being epic bangers, while towards the end we only get a bunch of melodramatic and corny ballads. Therefore, I decided to create a playlist with my own personal order of the songs, which is:

This was actually so hard. I tried my best not to use existing sequencing. I wanted to end on So It Goes with the intention of looping back to Ready For It..., but New Year's Day just feels right so I had to move it to the top...

Tracks 5 to 11 are basically the Taylor/Joe love journey… from crushing on him, to lusting after him, to second guessing the relationship to sealing the deal (KOMH)

TIWWCHNT - This closes up the drama arc and finally has Taylor in a place of bitter "acceptance"

DWOHT - Perhaps a slight last minute bump in the road for their relationship…

CIWYW + RFI - closes out the narrative and our two love birds finally find happiness (well… for six years they did at least)

I've had several iterations of the track sequence — can't seem to find the one I loved the most but it's honestly perfect the way it is.
