It's such a beautiful record and I wish more people would give it a chance. I didn't quite get it from first listen either but oh boy when it HITS...

 

I have many favorites but I wanna highlight this specific track for this thread:

 

 

 

 

Her worst project (to me) but Late To The Party & Dimestore Cowgirl are career highlights 

It's a solid album but from what I remember a bit uneven with most of its better songs frontloaded in the first half. 

The highs on this album are extremely high (High Time, Dime Store Cowgirl, Pageant Material, Late To The Party, Cup Of Tea) but there's so much filler, that I've personally turned it into an EP instead.

I'd probably rank this right in the middle of her discog. Below Golden Hour and not quite on the constant highs of STDP, but more consistent than Star-Crossed (some days I like this better, solely from "seeing live nostalgia" tho) and better than Deeper Well
