this has been living rent free in my vital organs

I relistened to MSE yesterday (like I don't listen at least once a week ddd)

 

The new music is indeed worse than everything on MSE. The lyrical content, song structures, instrumentals.. all def subpar to MSE's soundscape. Those songs were longer and/or let the instrumental's breathe. There was more focus I think on good verses, not just quickly getting to the chorus? 

 

Idk, BCE and M are so fun but definitely not as good. I'm dying to see what else is in store for us. 

 

I hope she announces the album next, and SOON! Like in July, mother.

I find both enjoyable but I'm thinking/hopping milk is like a couple of the tracks on MCE where I love and adore them especially in the context of the album but not ones I search out a play on their own all that often.
