Yesterday i was revisiting her book-memoir and i got real nostalgic about her music
it was fun to read her book and google all the places she went and all the things she did in her early life  so many cool adventures mixed with storms
my favorite was britney riding a convertible with her friend in the arizona desert and feeling something supernatural
 the last part of the book is horrific  with the conservatorship

then after reading the  book i just remembered the early 2000s and middle 2000s. A portal opened to my teenhood-childhood..................
Britney was the NR1 popstar in the world.
All the eyes were on her. She was the Taylor Swift of the 2000s i remember so well  
Do you all remember her Crazy Power? in that time. 

Something i always loved about Britney was how girly and sweet she was 🦋 She was a real life BARBIE.
She was the embodiment of POP. She's so POP
Hope she goes back to the music and the  acting world one day or something else.

im a Shakifan (my fave fave) and i have to acknowledge how my fave in her laundry service era was inspired by brit brit too
We can see her imprint in all the pop divas from the 2000s and the way they used to do their stuff

i get really angry when new stans try to downplay her legacy.  Britney was the most powerful titan. The one with the spotlight worldwide
she was just abused and her career-potential ruined by that criminal family-the bullying of the media
similar situation to Kesha career falling apart cause Dr luke destroyed her life........

I know the feeling, but honestly I wish the fans could stop talking about a potential comeback. I wish I had new music from her, I wish I could see her live at least once in my life, but I accept the fact that she's retired.

After reading all she's been through, I don't want her to feel any kind of pressure when it comes to her career and it seems like fans want this expectation to keep going forever.

If she does come back one day, then great, that'd be awesome, but we should start treating as something unlikely, not as something bound to happen.

If her fans keep talking about a comeback everytime they interact with her, I'm sorry, it'll just make said comeback less possible.

She has an expensive lifestyle sister  and touring or doin something else is the only way to keep enjoying that upper echelon wellness

Watching this video (especially her in the recording booth) really makes you realize how young she was when everything started. I mean... even during her "breakdown" era she was just 26 years old. She deserved so much better in every single way and nowadays I just hope she's happy and living her life the best she can. She deserves it

Comeback Queen!!! save Pop music

I miss her too, I wish she could make a comeback, not even for charts (don't come at me delulu fans please) but I want to hear and see her artistic input based on everything over the past few years.

im honestly open to all types of projects. makeup. furniture, whatever lmfao
but she's definitely livin her best life and healing. she just escaped from the conservatorship like 2-3 years ago. too soon. the wounds are still there
she's still talkin about it sometimes on instagram. Im glad she moved to mexico. things look easier there
im glad she reconnected with her kids too. according to her book. thats the thing she loves the most about in her life

i think we need more throwback threads
it would be good to have one there and there from different years

2000, 2001, 2002, 1994, 2011...........ETC.
where we appreciate all the things goin in those years  From singers, award shows, songs released*

You know what I would really wish? People leaving her alone. The amount of mentally ill online people coming for her and making fun of her body, face, lifestyle, and everything keeps her further and further away from recovering from her trauma and moving on.

 

It's mental to me how stans can be so ruthless sometimes, from all sides but mostly deranged Christina and Britney fans is what I see occasionally on X posting the most nasty **** I've ever seen or read, mind you, these are people over 30 years old.

 

Coming for someone's appearance, family, mental health and personal life should be off limits, always, just for the sake of human decency and respect. 

Pop music and culture will never be as fun and the same without her, but I've accepted the fact she most likely will never return and given the horror story she's gone through, I'm ok with it :'(

 

At the end of the day, I just hope she's finally able to enjoy the fruits of her labor.

YES! She's used to be my #1 Diva but she's been through so much **** I just want her to live her life

Agreed but sometimes an atrl thread or social media post will make me relapse on missing britney syndrome. I've been going thru it this past week lowk miss her sm 

She will forever be synonymous with "larger than life sexy blond with wild hair and hot body" 

 

 

Britney was the reason I found such a love for music. I remember seeing the oops video on tv as a 4 year old little gay boy realizing I wanted to be her in front of those sexy shirtless men  and I am grateful for all she's given to us throughout the years but yeah I don't ever expect her to come back to music

I love her that's why all i want for her is to be free and happy. If she ever wants to release music i hope she puts all her creativity and direction doing whatever she wants to.

I saw a Reel on Facebook from around the time Oops!...I Did It Again released and it hit me then how much I actually do miss her. I miss how pop music used to be, and a lot of it had to do with her presence. She was the quintessential pop star. She's definitely deserved to now live a life of peace and solitude; with all that the media has put her through, I couldn't imagine her giving that up just to be thrust back into it all. I genuinely believe she loves dancing and performing, but not all of the extra nonsense that comes with it—as it relates to being one of the world's biggest pop stars.

 

I'll listen to and appreciate what she has given us; maybe deluxe anniversary releases of her albums will release as the years go by. That's all I can see her releasing from here on out, which is unfortunate since I love the path she was on musically. Glory is still my favorite album from her.
