She also said that Taylor has nice cheekbones but if she wants to play her in a biopic then good luck with singing

Hejira is the greatest album of all time

fell off after Don Juan's Reckless Daughter

my brother was a massive joni stan and passed it on to me. i don't listen to her as often as i used to (i used to listen to the classic rock mag artists all the time when i was a teenager, i do it less now) but i listen thru all the mid 70s albums every so often. hejira is her best record, don juan's reckless daughter is an underrated gem (just don't look at the OG cover).

we've got a joni base somewhere, i got into top 5s and stuff in there

she also said some bitchy things about Bob Dylan I recall :sabrina:

Blue is a masterpiece and stands the test of time :jonny5:

She's so talented and doesn't need a writing camp to produce masterpiece :clack:

Lyrical legend :clap3:

Hejira, The Hissing of Summer Lawns and Don Joan's Reckless Daughter are among my most listened albums

I know Taylor wanted to play her in a biopic and she (Joni) said she can't sing, or something like that. I haven't heard a whole lot more from her, but kudos anyway.

Ladies of the canyon is a classic album, so yes to that. I also love River and Both Sides Now (songs) but that's about it :michael: I also don't get the hype for Blue album at all…

The best to ever do it. The mother of all my faves: From Fiona to Lana.

Her entire catalogue is brilliant but the run of Blue, Court & Spark, The Hissing of Summer Lawns, and Hejira is maybe the greatest run of music in the twentieth century?

Hejira will always be a top album for me.

If she's going to sing.. I wish her luck. She was mean for dragging Taylor back in the day

Love so many of her albums! Blue is probably my fav (The Last Time I Saw Richard = :jonny5:) but I also love Song to a Seagull a lot.
