After reading Pitchfork, The Atlantic and The Guardian take on her 11 minute odyssey in space, I don't think so 

The Wendy's social media manager probably thought about that tweet in about 15 seconds and just pressed post. It's not like the CEO of Wendy's sat down in a board room and said "Today we will wish death on Katy Perry".

No. But Wendy's can be catapulted into space along with her. Wendy's literally produces garbage food. It doesn't do anything positive for our bodies, mind, or planet

I mean it's a well known fact she's the least talented pop girl among her peers that reached that level of success. That along with her fake personality and questionable career choices it was bound to happen at some point. The only shocking part is that the backlash feels like Witness 2.0 level type of backlash. They say lightning doesn't strike the same place twice but in her case it seems to happen every other day.

Imagine if such corporations sending death threats to people online is normalized (despite it being in the context of a "joke")
