The way Beyonce, a 40 year old woman 25 years into her career is getting multiple week top 10/ number 1 singles while Taylor would probably never achieve that again because of her awful, out of touch, corny singles and weird strategy on focusing on first week peaks instead of longevity . We miss you Scott Borchetta.

Nah it's not a Scott Borchetta thing. She released back to back LWYMMD / RFI / End Game while being at Big Machine Records but yes we need a good single again. It's getting boring with the single choices since reputation.

Even Fearless TV or Red TV singles were mismanaged.

How tf did she send YAOM at TTH instead of MPF or : Run getting TTH , ATW getting MV and MIAB getting radio - she should have focused simply on one song.

And august / exile would have been signature hits.

I agree!! Actually she could have given folklore the 1989 treatment with august, exile and the lakes!!! I hope that reputation tv deserve the 1989 treatment with I did something bad, dancing with our hands tied, dress, don't blame me, getaway car and this is why you can't have nice things!!! Plus a solo version of idwlf and her version of this is what you came for!!! Personally I think that reputation tv could be the 1989 of the Taylor versions commercial wise!!!

There was a rumour that she had free rein with the rep singles because it was her last album for big machine and her relationship with Scott was already contentious. I don't know if it's true but I'm willing to believe it based on the awful singles she picked for that album .
