This conversation is so 2014 :suburban:

Let me collect more downvotes by saying that **** Out tour opener Slayyyter also worked with Cirkut. :suburban:

Wait what is the tea on this? I didn't know he was part of the lawsuit

Why are the Animals now discovering that Cirkut has been Team Luke from 2014. He produced Kim's first 7-8 singles with Luke back when we're in the trenches, and why I'm being downvoted for something Gaga did.

Cirkut definitely used to be close to Luke. However, I don't think he's comparable to someone like Chris Anokute or Baby E.

Cirkut gave an interview like a couple of years ago when he started to break out on his own where he said something along the lines of that he wishes Luke well and there is no bad blood between them and he can't say anything about Kesha or the lawsuit.

I do believe he "likes" Luke and is grateful for the opportunities he gave him, but he's not going HARD for him like the abovementioned do and he's not going out of his way to trash Kesha.

We only have a tiny excerpt of his deposition, so it doesn't really reveal much about where he stands in detail. I suppose he didn't say much that was "useful" to Luke, contrary to Kool Kojak who said the most disgusting things about Kesha that Luke happily relied on.

I mean, the bar is in hell but we have to be honest and admit that he stuck and defended Luke back then.

I honestly don't care about all of this at this point, and kinda hope he works with Kesha because he's super talented.

i get the music industry is complicated though. It's just since we know she felt so strongly about Katy, which again is 100% justified, I wouldn't have expected her to keep collaborating like this with someone with such clear ties to Luke. And if Luke is really profiting off of '.' I kinda think that would be ridiculous. There are a million other songwriters she could work with.

Luke is not profiting off of Period. Don't know why you think that.

He's not. Madison is NOT signed to his publisher. I don't know where this came from.

Maybe she decided to listen to 143 and the music was so terrible that she lost her marbles :michael:

OMG? :jonny5:

Oh this tech queen... the tour and album are just fun side quests, she's coming for silicon valley

It is in Kesha's best interest to build working relationships with those that could be influenced by #that man. The best (and funniest) thing she could do is take some of the newest up and coming writers and producers in the industry that have been around his influence and take them under her wing instead. A real psychological power move.

When her next lead single is produced by Dr. Luke under Kesha Records, so she can show him who's the boss.

She did.

Do we feel like she's going to show up at the Met tonight?

i would DIEEEE. she did do an event with YSL recently.

imagine if Andre 3000 took her as his date as a nod to the Sleazy remix. he (and OutKast) really pioneered some groundbreaking style w/r/t black dandyism in the music space so i'm hoping he was invited anyway.

I'm pretty sure I saw his name on one of those guest lists. It will be great if she managed to snatched an invite with some designer.

And finally you get what some reasonable Kats have been trying to say for months.

In fact I made a thread about this in August 2024:
