I don't know what's Kim's problem with Luke, but Zhone is managed by Dr. Luke's business partner and manager (I think @TomTom knows his name, he owns Advanced Alternative Media and was even deposed in the lawsuit and did not have nice things to say about Kesha)

 

I don't know why he doesn't follow Kim, but I've seen them together before. He DJ'd for her and remixed some of her songs.

That's really interesting, I didn't know this.

It makes sense though because several well-known writers and producers are signed to AAM, so I can totally see why Zhone did that.

 

This says a lot more about AAM and Luke than it does about Zhone. Mark Beaven could easily have not signed Zhone out of loyalty to his longtime-friend and biggest client Dr. Luke, but he probably realized Luke's career is largely done after 143 and he has nothing to lose by signing people who want to work with Kesha.

Zhone has been signed to AAM at least since 2021, so Luke was still hot back then (Doja, ...). AAM also has Justin Raisen and Sadpony on the roster who worked with Kesha on unreleased Gag Order stuff back in 2020. Also Toby Gad who allegedly recorded a podcast with her a few weeks ago.

 

I think it's just that no one cares about this whole thing anymore. I mean, Madison is Cirkut's girlfriend who basically said that Kesha is a liar.

I think this isn't really comparable to a label situation.

 

Producers and writers are by default working with lots different artists and there is bound to be overlap. And the pool of successful writers and producers really isn't that large compared to artists.

and arent writers and producers mostly just creating for any artist to look through and pick out what they like if theyre not also working on the song? liek those writing camps that artists like Bebe Rexha have been writing for other artists in?

I answered your question dear. Cirkut has defended Luke multiple times and retweeted Luke's post calling Kesha a liar.

I'm sorry but that's not how the industry works. Gaga or anyone else is not going to base their career on what people said about Kesha 10 years ago now.

Why are the Animals now discovering that Cirkut has been Team Luke from 2014. He produced Kim's first 7-8 singles with Luke back when we're in the trenches, and why I'm being downvoted for something Gaga did.

not @bearman's industry tea causing a moral quandary 

 

i get the music industry is complicated though. It's just since we know she felt so strongly about Katy, which again is 100% justified, I wouldn't have expected her to keep collaborating like this with someone with such clear ties to Luke. And if Luke is really profiting off of '.' I kinda think that would be ridiculous. There are a million other songwriters she could work with.
