Songs MAYHEM sounds like?

Featured Replies

What are some songs that the songs on Mayhem sound like?

I hear Parachute by Cheryl in the verses of The Beast.

I also hear Out Of The Woods by Taylor Swift in How Bad Do You Want Me

I also get Out Of Time by The Weeknd in Don't Call Tonight.

There's a few others I forgot but I want to see everyone's answers!

  • Garden of Eden sounds like Maneater by Nelly Furtado, Break the Ice by Britney Spears, and Gaga's own Out of Control, Filthy Pop, Animal, and Private Audition   Perfect Celebrity REMINDS ME

i feel like they both sound a lot like prince, bit of sign o the times in killah i think

Don't Call Tonight reminds me of What's Love Got To Do With It by Tina Turner.

Killah sounds a lot like some of the songs on All Born Screaming by St. Vincent

Garden Of Eden - Bad Romance

YES! Everyone kept saying Taylor but I instantly heard this.

Don't Call Tonight - Alejandro

Don't call tonight don't call tonight

Vs

Don't call my name don't call my name

That being said, DCT is my instant fave from the album probably because of the familiarity

It's an interpolation.

Nothing reminds me of anything. The entirety of this album is very innovative and original.

Killah reminds me a bit of Baby Let Me Kiss You by Fern Kinney

Don't Call Tonight chorus sounds like Don't Turn Around, same song she already used as base for Alejandro

it's as if people think that Taylor invented 1989 and it's not purposefully a throw back sound lmao

This is a lie. I love Gaga and I like Mayhem but it's very derivative which is completely ok btw!
