  1. hmm, disagree I mean, just look at Madonna before and after the Evita vocal lessons
  2. Lady Gaga's Paparazzi her best Gwen Stefani pastiche
  3. she made many mistakes in the last decade, but THE biggest one? Easily the whole 143 era, imagine thinking it was a good idea to go back to Dr. Luke, only to deliver the worst album of your career. She really didn't needed to do that, and I don't think she can bounce back anymore after that.
  4. liddos usually like to pretend this never happened because it completely debunks the fake victimist narrative that they always try to spread that Madonna hated and attacked Gaga since the beginning of her career because she felt threatened (mind you, this was in 2009 and the infamous reductive quote only happened in 2012, one whole after Gaga lied about that non-existent email, the actual incident that kicked-off their feud)
  5. people saying she was always that bad lol definitely not, she was a very decent singer-songwriter in her debut, she just lost/chose to abandone that part of her artistry after Teenage Dream success I think she needs to bring back Glenn Ballard and Greg Wells if she wants to go back to that pop-rock sound, they were the ones who pushed her songwriting abilities
  6. both are kinda super generic and bland songs, but Rain on Me works much better as a duet. Ariana actually breathe life and elevated that song with her verses and vocals, meanwhile Sabrina adds NOTHING to Bring Your Love, we know by the Afterhours Remix demo that the song sounds just the same without her.
  7. I Feel So Free is highkey just a reductive copy of I Feel Love Gang Bang have more personality
  8. the comparison makes no sense, Rain on Me would be a better fit (both Gaga & Madonna leeching off the hottest pop girl of the moment) a DWAS comparison would only make sense if Madonna had included her The Weeknd collab as the closing track of Confessions II
  9. it's loud and full of fillers, so definitely BTW II
  10. it's definitely not THE worst song of all time like people say, but it was a terrible lead single choice
  11. Lady Gaga cheesy AC ballads
  12. it's the way this applies much more to Gaga than to Beyoncé, cause Chromatica got WAY TOO positive critic reactions for being such a mediocre record (same for Mayhem)
  13. 365 is good and the video is kinda amazing Where We Started deserved to be a cute little AC hit and I still think Bandaids was really good, fresh and sounded like a hit, I was totally surprised by the tankery all the other ones are bad or just forgettable
  14. hmm no. the 2 original songs are really corny, and besides The Joker and I've Got the World on a String, all the other covers lack personality in her delivery like, she literally tries to imitate Shirley Bassey accent and the cadence of her voice in That's Life
  15. honestly, both albums represent a return to form for both ladies after 3 consecutive duds (Artpop, Joanne, Chromatica X MDNA, Rebel Heart, Madame X) but Confessions II is the superior one in basically every aspect, except vocals of course. Mayhem goes in a nose dive after track 4 with all the tired 80s slop filler and the songs shamelessly emulating other artists (Michael in Shadow of a Woman, Prince in Killah, TAYLOR SWIFT in HBDUWM)
