Fortnight isn't a bad song, it's a good soft pop ballad but it should've remained an album track. 

Instead these songs deserved to be lead singles:

But yeah, Down bad should've been the lead single

For first single, I totally agree with your 3 choices.

But I would also make TTPD and So Log, London singles after it.

Fortnight was the best choice

My Boy should have been the first song on the album.  Starting off with the line "oh here we go again" would have been a moment. 
 

I also think it should have been the lead single.

I think she picked the singles pretty well this era, I'd rather have more of them rather than different picks

My Boy or Down Bad were the most obvious choices. Guilty As Sin? for second single.

I'm surprised so many people like My Boy, it's a cute album track and should stay that way

Florida!!! Catchy, fun, memorable, easy narrative to follow, not too wordy…

I don't think she wanted an uptempo song as the lead. Fortnight encapsulates the general desolate and melancholic feel of the double album. 

Down Bad screamed single so did Guilty As Sin? Either of those could've worked, although I get why they went with Fortnight.

They probably thought having Post in the song would've made it a big hit.

I can do it with a broken heart would've fit the narrative she had going and been friendly for pop radio

People naming ICDIWABH because it's upbeat but it's literally one of the worst tracks on the album.

 

Tbh none of the songs are single-worthy. Fortnight was the best choice.

Fortnight is a good song but it’s a terrible single. I’ve only recently started to “get” it because it’s so abstract. It really requires that you care about untangling the entire album to figure out who these abstracted characters are to get the underlying story. It works as an opener to the album, but yeah, I agree it shouldn’t have been a single.

“Guilty as Sin?” is the best option in my opinion. Its chorus is delicious ear candy. I think another option would be Down Bad or MBOBHFT. But these both feel like the more cynical choices (i.e., they sound the most like a radio song because of tempo and what not). I would pick MBOBHFT over Down Bad because the censored version of Down Bad is unbearable and it’s extremely obvious due to how often she curses in the song.
