I don't have any personal issue with you I just think your biases around a certain couple users on here are warping your perception and it was a light hearted joke to hopefully show you how silly the whole thing sounded.

That's okay I don't have any personal issues with you either, and I'm totally satisfied with my perception regarding the variance I see between Bloo and the other mods and I'm happy to continue calling it out where appropriate. At best it can perhaps push them to become more like Bloo, and at worst they'll just hate me which I'm COMPLETELY fine with and I'll wear it like a badge of honor

idk i just find it exhausting to see certain members of the mod team constantly battling these accusations. I've been a target of it too so I know how for a certain group of users(you have never done this to me, to be clear) can utilize politics as a weapon to beat down users they don't like for arbitrary reasons instead of actually taking offense to their political stances, and then desperately spending months trying to construct false narratives around them holding political views which they do not have and have expressly stated the opposite of on an infinite number of occasions

 

This is a website where you can freely wish death on fascists and genocide supporters and accusing one of the two people running it of not being on board with that is silly. This website used to be much more of a cesspool before I joined with users being openly racist and transphobic and that only changed specifically because @Ryan and @Lee!! listen to us and value curating a safe space for the users here above basically everything else. It starts to come off as harassment or abuse after a certain point.

I will say this: More of the mods stand with Bloo’s approach and values than you know.
 

They may not post a lot in that civic section but they have been fierce advocates for making sure this is a safe platform to express views like yours and have been the ones letting me know I can handle things better than I have with some members. We all struggle with making sure we are doing things right. 

 

So if you like Bloo, then you like a lot of the other ones too, and they were hand picked by us. Their approach to moderating, the things they advocate for, the stances they take — I’m in lock step with them. Even if I dont always express it the best way.

Thanks for this and I look forward to seeing it in action, as even as recently as 24 hours ago some mods were (in my opinion) not carrying themselves in the way you're describing. 

 

I'm not a monster and I'm not here to attack people senselessly, and when I do see exemplary behavior I positively call it out (Bloo's, for example) - so I have no vendetta against the mods and there's no witch hunt or harassment like some here are implying.
