Moderating can be challenging at times, especially when things feel personal or overwhelming. I want to hold myself to a higher standard and create a space where decisions are made fairly, not from a place of frustration. I appreciate the support as I work on that.

I disagree, if anything dislikes keep this forum engaging and conversations moving.
 

Do you need 20 replies quoting you telling you they disagree with you & clogging up the threads or 20 dislikes instead? 
 

They also keep misinformation down.

For example - a rage bait thread could have 10 pages, and the first two could be full of trolls and misinformation. How many people are going to read until the third page for the facts? Upvotes are a way of regulating this.

They chalk it up to being "emotional" or "humans who make mistakes too" but the reality points to there clearly being a systemic issue, where the majority of mods range anywhere between being indifferent to Anti-Arab sentiment, to actively perpetuating it themselves
