I entered HQ exactly for this reason. That dinosaur scene disturbs me.

Saw this the other day and thought it crossed the line 

I've said it before, but I agree people wishing death to Katy on her space journey — even jokingly — were taking things way too far. Thankfully, she made it back OK.

 

However, saying the dinosaur gif is in the same vein is incorrect and is missing context — no one is saying Katy should die or joking about her dying with that one, but rather it's funny because its a representation of the idea of her "career extinction" from this headline; just like the non-avian dinosaurs went extinct, so too may her career (per the headline). It's also where the gif started being used in the first place.

 

 

I'm not saying it's not dragging her, but there's a vast difference between saying she should die and saying she's a flop.

If I rename my thread title the same as that, can I re-open it? 

 

I simply wanted to give a PSA to pop fans about low prices for a concert.
