honestly yeah probably better to merge them all under some new mega with the election one probably due to close or be retitled

 

the threads always give me false hope that a good discussion will happen but instead they always get hijacked by voices keen to misrepresent someones words / hone in on their identity or post history / whatever else and it just fractures the community, whether intentional or not. 

 

Twice now I've had my words entirely misrepresented and it seems a result of tensions and emotions just being understandably high as hell. I'm probably just going back to silence on them because it sucks to see someone hurt by an incorrect interpretation of my words

You're one of the more tolerable users in respect to these topics, don't sell yourself short. It's going to be a very long and disruptive 4 years

Don't want to get too into the weeds on that here in this specific thread. Since the site is crumbling and I'm sure the mods have a lot to go through of course, but... Yeah, I just don't know. I only brought it up here because rooting for a data breach seems pretty serious, and I'm sure most people here wouldn't agree with something going that far even if they disagree with us politically or personally, idk
