well nothing wrong on switching early like SNSD had no issue keeping the GP on their side like they went from aegyo to cvnt twice at their peak ( Gee/Genie and Oh/RDR )

 

sometimes it isn't just the music, you really need to have the talent and range to pull it off. IVE outside of Yujin needs a lot more years they are still way too uncooked

They've had like 3 hits then (one being the biggest of the year, another being moderate for their standards, and a random ass #1 hit from a b-side) and moved 2.6m units in albums (biggest year ever). Kinda weird to call it a decline

SNSD were truly trend setters and were known as "Concept Queens". With every comeback after Oh being wildly different than the previous.  Who else could go from Dark models to 70's Austin powers Spy's to the Boys Goddess concept to IGAB Urban street Gangsta's to Mr.Mr suits to Beach Barbie party to Lion heart bestiality, to what ever the hell holiday is @youresotoxic to Women empowerment legacy icons in Forever 1 like who tf is doing all this? No one.

yeah they pioneered the dress up aspect of Kpop, they were like Barbies whose all motto "a girl can be anything she wants."

 

see how the whole 2nd Gen especially GGs are taking the concept and theme-ing seriously after but more than that debuting in the right age, proper training and talents should be the key factors as just as good music

I don't think so, though they have only finished their Asian leg of the tour so far.
So far they have only announced 55 shows without the future Encore dates. Though I think they are at least guaranteed the 2nd spot in terms gross revenue.

Yup it's always the selective essays and picking-n-choosing for some users, and the focus is always on the negative aspects for the groups they dislike/are indifferent towards, and over-exaggerating the achievements of groups they like. A tale as old as time.
