To be honest (and not really making this an excuse) many idols are quite dumb and out of touch. 

If you see the shows they go and the things they talk about, you can notice they really live in their own world, especially the ones that are from successful groups.

Yeah, but for all these groups, it took time before they got cute hits with the GP. I just don't understand why it's the only Hybe group where the k gp says no, unless I'm missing something. 

 

 

It didn't take much time for TXT and BND to get a hit... I think TXT already charted at debut and BND around their third comeback. ENHYPEN debuted during covid, I-Land was a flop (survival shows were as it lowest because of the Produce fiasco) and people didn't give much of a **** about BGs at that time. They did have a moderate hit with Polaroid Love, but by that time people already started moving towards other groups that had a more gp friendly sound as their print like ZB1, Riize, TWS or BND.

No Doubt is another Y2K beat which is very present in Hybe music now. Nothing different from others groups imo. 

Sugar Rush Ride was their highest charting song, but I would not say they were not charting relatively well before, especially for a boygroup.

 

Also Sunghoon's payola is nothing if we compare it with the massive payola TXT got since debut. There is a reason why most of us ENGENES don't lick HYBE ass like most MOAs do and that is because ENHYPEN was always getting the "ugly cousin" treatment under HYBE.

That said, I still think it is a dumb and airheaded move for a 28-year-old man to remain ignorant about global affairs. As public figures, they should be aware of what's happening in the world, especially when those events affect millions of lives.

 

Also, @BellKat explained it really well above. If JK had knowingly worn that hat with full awareness of the situation, it could've led to far more serious issues than just people wondering, "Is she conservative?", the way they did with Karina. Their situations are not really that similar.

anyway I went back to look at the jk thread and I liked a grand total of 3 posts that were critical but measured responses to coddling from army, a couple that were about the comparison to karina, and one asking for the op to have their thread making privileges taken away, I liked none of the random attacks with no substance. So this was just more lies about me. I guess my comments about users like you lying about me were fair after all.
