The Kpop bg landscape was never the same since :ghostface:Every 4th gen bg had at least 1 era, where they tried to replicate this kind of sound, and have their little noisy moment

  • I'm going to eat the spaghetti today while reading all the meltdowns. I'm still not going to stream Spaghetti though but I will choose to stream this instead     After all the

I mean it's not like other idols who appeared wearing colors + symbols alluding to a political party were not dragged. They were, but they were less relevant than Karina so ofc it wouldn't be as much of a big deal. Plus Karina has a lot of female and lgbt stans so ofc they would care more if she supported a korean conservative party.

I mean in Brazil the artists would get dragged if they dressed in the national team shirt, made a "22" with it and a brazilian flag emoji. Colors, numbers and symbols alluding to a political party is not just a "western" thing. It would be kinda naive of us to think that adult idols, who go through very extensive PR training and are aware of every single thing that might attract hate to them, are not conscious of how the posts they make in social media might get interpreted.

Would you care to elaborate which "made up" scenarios you're talking about so I can dump the confirmed, admitted, and settled dupe ATRL account receipts for the 10th time? The account has literally zero followers. It's either your personal account or you're so deep into the obsessively hating on all women in kpop sphere that your algorithm surfaces nugu ragebaiting accts which you then take seriously. You don't look good in any scenario.

I simply was searching up any updates on this and that tweet came up, it has 900 likes, so it's not like it's irrelevant. Also that account talks about 5th gen groups who I couldn't even tell you the names of the members of these groups let alone the songs. So there's made up scenario number one. Let's see the fact that you I have beef with all SNSD fans from a decade ago from onehallyu is also false. The fact that you remember me, and I don't know who you are from that time says a lot. I think that supposed gruge is projection. Even if it were true, I'd be justified since ya'll liked to doxx me on that site anytime you got into a fanwar. But yes keep on continue making up scenarios in your head about me with your little sm stan group chat.

Again she's been caught in this same scandal before but with the color blue and the left wing party. Unless there's some tinfoil hat ass secret twins or multiple personalities type scenario here, the most reasonable assumption is that she just wore some clothes. The only case where I can see this being intentional is one where she wanted to have fake political scandals on both sides to remain neutral.

When you are THAT group! The fact that they are the most covered boy group at the moment, with a lot of 5th gen bgs mentioning them as their inspiration.

The several things here that are either extremely exaggerated or just never said by me. I have no decades old grudges being immediately followed up with grievance airing over decades old grudges really is something though. Thank you for proving that you think the SM sheep are out to get you. Sorry to hear you got doxxed.

Why did they re-record that many different Stray Kids songs :ahh:

Why does kick flip do so many skz covers if they are just gonna have that flower cutesy boy aesthetic anyways?

Gotta get the stays invested somehow :cm:

It's normal for newer groups to cover older groups from the same company. SKZ used to cover 2PM and GOT7 songs as well, when they were rookies.

And let's not forget this iconic TWICE cover

So especially since you say this happened to her before, she should've known right? So, either she's extremely dumb (which, to be fair, could be possible) or actually conservative, so it's bad anyways. This current scandal has taken a much bigger scale so if she doesn't say anything to deny it, it would be basically confirming it since I don't think anyone with good nature being accused of supporting such viles wouldn't try to distance themselves from such people/accusations. I think it's still recent enough that I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt but it's not looking good to her. If she doesn't agree I hope that this gives her the opportunity to learn that should not use symbolic things from an ideology that you do not agree with, especially if you're a public figure.

or actually a progressive, that's an option too :psyduck:

I think some companies like JYP/YG are still being carried by the third generation groups, hybe was saved by their conglomerate business model and all of the companies they own, and SM was saved by aespa, their 4-5 gen nct units and riize it seems.

YG has had it rough since losing the pinks, and JYP could be in a similar position if they lose a twice member/s and when skz start their enlistment period

The medium/smaller companies basically depend on 1 group mostly (starship-IVE, cube-Idle), and others like RBW are basically close to bankruptcy after losing 2 mamamoo members and buying all those companies with idols that don't make much noise anymore.

The future is cloudy for kpop

The thing is they covered Only Stray Kids while NEXZ already covered 2PM, Stray Kids and Got7.

The only time they covered 2PM it was during LOUD and both time it was a mission from PSY.

aespa continuesly demolishes everyone let's get that clear.  even the most praised ggs here like IVE and NJ had fallen off in just short amount of time

obviously. but i'm talking about 2022. they went from going straight to #1 with savage to "barely crack the top 10" which in itself were good results tbh, but the top 10 had so many other girl groups… and aespa used to be #1 with their previous comeback.

it didn't help that hybe was actively tried to get them cancelled in korea because of their lip sync lmao

Did you not read my full post? :psyduck: If she's progressive then posting that and ignoring the criticism and far right people associating with you is extremely dumb (yet still it's better being dumb than a bigot). But, like I said, it's fairly recent and she still has time so let's wait.

like compare next level and savage with girls… and add the fact that newjeans was absolutely dominating the charts with their entire ep. it's not that strange that people back then used to think aespa's reign was over

but thankfully they're versatile AND talented which helped them bounce back and dominate again :1stplace:

She didn't ignore it. She deleted the post then apologized to Mys for the "misunderstanding"

They are huge SKZ stans

NEXZ are also heavily inspired by SKZ

RBW is the worst thing ever.

Like they collected all these companies like Pokemon cards, but they had 0 plans, they just bought just for the sake of buying. And now they are on their way of thinking of a plan.

me personally the fact that she's not doing anything about all those big right wing personalities appropriating her and acting like she publicly endorsed them is rubbing me the wrong way

how can she and SM let that happen without at least saying anything? they're literally using her image as an endorsement :biblio:

She literally said something. Are you an akgae or something? aespa's biggest haters in this thread have posted less about this :deadbanana4:

Don't you remember, the Kara NFTs were going to pay for everything!
