I don't want to start another 400 page Jessica war but outside of the blatant lies, her books make it abundantly clear that there was underlying tensions. Whether they were all actually jealous of Jessica being so much more pretty and talented and likeable than the rest of them or not, the fact that Jessica thinks they were speaks to long running issues.

Just reminded me that SM has another version of Lion Heart MV set the ones with Sunny in that sparkling dress. I'm too lazy to go find it. 
 

but yeah they were literally working on an unreleased 2015 Japanese album, that's why the Best hits collection came out that summer before 9/30 happen. And Catch me if you can was gonna be the lead single before plans changed. They also had English songs unreleased for a U.S. drop

YGE ain't **** for having footage of their own idols doing that even after all these years  it's alarming that they still make them do it if Ahyeon's "recent" scandal is anything to go by.

 

no wonder most renew their contracts with these companies that put them through hell...

I know Koreans will never accept anything other than conservative trite and hate foreign perspectives but I really wish one of the true idol megastars like GD or BTS or Black Pink would use their racism scandals as an opportunity to inform the public of why these things draw such a backlash from foreigners and rally for change in the industry. It would take a single bombshell interview to gain back a lot of respect in the west and also help stop the cycle of this happening over and over again.

 

Yes there's massive issues with racism and xenophobia in Korea but like everywhere else in the world, artists of any discipline tend to be some of the wokest girlies even if they have to act conservative for pr. I don't believe that ALL of them would still do blackface or use slurs if given the chance to go back, I don't even think most of them would. It's not like they're completely unaware, idols reference the most chronically online brainrot bs regularly, they just aren't allowed to speak out on serious stuff.

 

GD just kinda missed a perfect opportunity to face it head on with his Anderson Paak collab and even show how anti-black cultural sentiment can hurt Koreans too since Anderson is both.

As a retired 2014 - 2016 k-pop fan that frequently used Onehallyu, especially during JessGate, REAL ones know what truly transpired 

 

The fact that the CUBE leak is probably Pentagon shelved album, (G)I-DLE Dumdi Dumdi B-Sides, CLC all shelved project, Hyuna's scrapped B-Side cause all of her mini were supposed to be full albums. The OG lineup Nowadays with Seonho and KuanLin, they recorded an album, then the second line up, the ones that was on Minhyuk album, and Lightsum Juhyeon solo album.
