Well Jennie has no vinyl, I did expect Jennie sales to be stronger in America. Maybe shipping issues?

 

I don't know how rose did debut that high tbh. Rose did 70k physicals but I think Jennie/Lisa have a stronger western fanbase but maybe APT gave her that big of a boost?

Interesting, since WINTER recently hinted at a unit/duo song with KARINA (or if not, something specific to both of them for the comeback), so maybe they were filming it in Amsterdam (possibly a track video or MV). She also said it was related to that city. 

 

The source about the shoot also said that KARINA was spotted at the filming location, so maybe it's that...? 

 

Either way, it seems like the comeback is getting much closer

and Supernova is their Psycho to me personally. IMO, both groups will always drop bangers every year and I'll get hyped, but those respective two songs are just they're it songs for me.

Kinda obsessed with the way Seulgi says "maybe, accidentally on purpose" so hastily in the second verse and the random screeching at the end of the song. Still have absolutely no idea what she means by "baby, not baby" but the song is a BOP. I think she's referring to herself as the immaculate conception. This makes sense in my head.

Yeah she could actually be a very interesting artist if she actually got some team members who can create some great moodboards based to the things that she can say like you said, but as i said earlier, lisa lacks the vision by herself. She needs help to bring that to life. This whole alter ego thing was just so boring idk, especially since there is no background, context nor explanation to any of it. And she's also not the best one to be able to describe her music either, every interview is just some generic description and that's it. Her Hot Ones episode was just that. Compare that to Jennie's interviews for her album and her comments are so clear about what shes tryna say with each song. I know Lisa still struggles with articulating in English so maybe that's the reason, but musically she could be talking about so much more about her heritage and background instead of collecting generic demos and slapping her voice on them. Either that focusing on being the best performer-popstar the world has seen. yeah she hasn't been able to describe her music very well and there is a language barrier but i also think she just doesnt connect at all.

if she's smart enough to be her own CEO then she should be smart enough to have a simple vision. i don't think it's too hard tbh, all she has to do is be herself and say what she wants to say. she's gone through so many challenges especially being the first thai idol in big 3 and i bet she does have a lot to share. and yes once this vision is ideated she does need people to bring it to life.

like lisa couldve had a diss track against the fans who ditched her when she pissed them off with her crazy horse performance "im at the crazy horse, pissin off yall crazy wh0res. stay mad h0, im my own CEO!" not "u want the old lisa then listen to my old sh*t" when she only has 2 other songs that are in the same vein as Alter Ego  she doesnt even have to write the lyrics. or even platform some revolutionary thai musicians. give us a taste of thai rap!! a legacy really could have been built.
