RCA just shipped the physicals early, it's not uncommon.

kpop labels usually use in-house producers, so leaks barely happen.

Those who cater to western audience buy demos from western producers/songwrites and sign with western labels (who are already known for having leaks). 

and demos are also being passed around a lot of artists, so fans can track down the song easily i guess.

 

In Lisa's case, I found it very weird because her era had SO many leaks (from the collab photo leak, to the music video set), and they were never taken down or copyrighted. Sometimes the label leaks it on purpose 

There's this account on twitter that gives hints on comebacks/magazine photoshoots and they are 100% correct all the time.

The last time a kpop song was leaked it was OO till this day I still think JYP did it purposely

I think it's a combination of usually having in-house technical teams and stricter copyright and piracy laws.
