It seems like they're running with the leftover White Fox crumbs but the director doesn't seem to have the taste of MHJ.

Yuri, Yoona, Sooyoung are common Korean names as well. Even Tiffany and Jessica are the most basic English names

I still can't believe SM is going this route with the group

it's cute that they're going for GG's original concept, but in 2025 they look visually and sonically like another NewJeans-esque group

it's very odd to me that they're doing this for such a big group. how are the members gonna stand out from all the other similar GG members (hopefully they'll serve vocals)

I can see them having a similar fate as babymonster/nmixx for these reasons

also I wish they were 9  the choreo as 9 looks so much more epic

 

 

but let's remain positive and wait for their debut as SM GG's have never disappointed

Right, but Yuri, Yoona, Taeyeon, Tiffany, Jessica and Sunny are all easy to say and pronounce. The hardest name in SNSD was Seohyun and even Hyoyeon and Sooyoung are just phonetic.

 

They should have romanized the names a little better. Juun as June. A-na as Ahna or Anna. And while they're at it, fox that group name. How did we go from White Fox to Hearts2Hearts?

In fairness, they're clearly using the White Fox plans from MHJ that have been in development at SM for over 9 years. Not to be too shady, but I'm so grateful they went a different route for Aespa.

 

I think SM is just gonna do what they did with Girls' Generation - keep a young, youthful image for the girls for the first few years to get them a fanbase and allow them time to age and grow. Then when they're a bit older, you'll see an SNSD-style shift where they're making more Westernized-pop and dramatically changing every comeback.

Quite the contrary, Into The New World choreo is way harder than The Boys or Mister Mister where the whole point of those choreographies is to walk and point a random place.

Yeah I feel like they are going that route. Thier Gee moment won't be for another 2 years. How iconic would it be if Thier peak was in 2027, same time SNSD themselves return for Thier 20th anniversary Grand Comeback?!

I'm not so sure. I think MHJ took those plans (and the demos) with her to HYBE. She already hinted this in interviews. She clashed with LSM because he wanted an AI/worldview concept which she hated. So she left, and turned the fox into a bunny at ADOR. 

 

I hope I'm wrong, but my thinking is that SM is seeing what is happening with NewJeans and thinking they can jump in with a replacement. Don't forget the majority shareholders of SM are Kakao and HYBE who would both benefit from a plan like that. 

 

I'll be interested to see how H2H unfolds. SM GGs usually take a year or so to heat up anyway.

 

Ugh, looking at Hearts2Hearts debut trailer made me nostalgic for aespa's. they really came such a long way
