Rosie's debut was carried by Apt's success (almost 1/3rd of the album streams) but even without a big hit yet I think Lisa's numbers, at least the debuts, are generally higher so she should end up with a bit more. Either way it should be fairly close. Expecting similar from Jennie when she arrives

rosé debuted first day with 33M and without APT it would be 23M

 

first week for rosie is 179M and without apt 113M

I actually love the album cover. At first i thought it was meh/basic but then it grew on me. It's just pretty simple and that's it

 

And for me it works more bc i like textless covers

She's taking it! Every song really does sound different and it's exciting how she's trying so many different styles out. The singles are obvious standouts but I think Elastigirl, Thunder, Rapunzel (perched for Megan on that beat!), and Chill are all great highlights too. That rap on Lifestyle is one of her best too

album is eating, she needs to drop blackpink asap and focus on her next project cuz she has an amazing future. BP just doesn't add anything to her career anymore

while I love the album even if its just Lisa solo, is it just me or aside from the 5 songs with features already - elastigirl, thunder, badgrrrl, chill & lifestyle all would be elevated with features too?

why is nobody talking about chill? it has the best prechorus / chorus aside from new woman, of course Stargate did that.

just wished the chorus builded up more thought the song but oh well.

Chill was my favorite on first listen! i'm excited to hear it again. the strong pop writing really helped it stand out

Chill is one of my favorites! Vocals and really nice melodic choices

I wasn't using "carried" in a negative way btw. Obviously it still had a lot of streams without it but I do think one song pulling 1/3rd of the streams is carrying. Everything in my comment was based on first day, I didn't look at first week. Tracks 8-12 all did 1.8-1.3m. Rosie's highest song (apt) had 31% of the total streams, the lowest song had 4%. Of course Born Pink had 4 fewer tracks but the highest had 19%, lowest had 8% the averages for each album are really different. Again, none of this is in a negative light, I'm just having a fun lil comparison because those two albums had very similar totals on day 1

 

Idk, I'm very curious to see Lisa's initial debut
