And now, a word from Tori about the record.
 
After having already moved the entire tour twice due to the Pandemic, I was eventually able to start rehearsing with the band, which for this tour consisted of my musical friend of a million years, MD and Bassist @jonevansmusic and for the first time renowned Drummer and Percussionist @ashsoan. By the time we set off, Europe still had not fully opened up, so we played the UK and Ireland and headed to the States. By the time we finished in late summer 2023 we couldn't believe how quickly time had passed and how much fun we had. Playing with these two beings was one of the greatest experiences I have had on stage. To be able to sit back and jam with the guys was so very special, I truly hope anyone listening will find themselves getting lost in the moment just like we did.

Ugh i love her so much. And i think the song selection is pretty great. Amber Waves deserves to have her time in the sun. 

I was not prepared for her to have taken her voice down a key and I'm not sure how much life she is giving that performance but there are welcome little flourishes in her piano playing that definitely embellish (and not detract from) the main studio version of the song.

I'll have to listen to this before deciding whether I'm interested in buying, just because I don't know how well her voice is holding up anymore for a live album, but I'm always here to support Tori. The fact that she manages to make her performances differ meaningfully from the studio versions may end up being compelling enough a reason to support this. She's such an incredible artist.

It's pretty good  A little over-produced and nowhere near her previous bootlegs from her peak but it's nice to have it officially. I like the song selections a lot, Spring Haze, Climb, Mother Revolution are some of my favourites from their respective albums and get nice treatment here. Climb especially has a lovely unique intro. 

 

Unfortunately Pandora's Aquarium sounds like a bit of a frankenstein job and a bit of a struggle. One of her best songs ever tho! 

i'm obsessed. daisy dead petals is a surprising highlight, she also did amazing with amber waves

 

the absolute best track for me is Code Red though, I was so excited to see ADP is getting some love and i know Code Red would slay and it did! people who think her old voice doesn't emote as much need to listen to it 

This is a nice summary of the tour! She was so energized by the band and return to live performance, it was a good moment to document. Really enjoyed seeing her this tour, too.
