Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) is the fairer comparison.

They can't be compared in my opinion.

LoveGame is very of-its-time, whereas Good Luck, Babe! sounds super 80s.

One's a 2009 song that sounds like it's from 2009, and the other's a 2024 song that sounds like it's from 1984.

Both are cool for that reason, but it also makes them incomparable.

Edit: Oh, lmao. I just refreshed the base and saw that comparing songs to GLB is today's trend.

Did I miss a trend/is this meant to be not serious? LoveGame charted for 20 weeks. GL,B is on week 26 and still top 10. Its consumption is fantastic too, clearly a much bigger hit.

I love LoveGame and it's so nostalgic, but I think GL,B is probably the better song. For artistry? Miss Gaga will always clear.

Hits in streaming era tends to last way longer than digital era hits. LoveGame was top 10 for 11 weeks and 5xPlatnum eligible.

GLB is so much better, I can't believe Love Game is winning. :skull:

It's far from Gaga's best

LoveGame is a stone cold banger. Good Luck Babe is fine but it reminds of MUNA or some other 80s inspired indie synthpop act.

GL,B will easily out consume LoveGame, too. It was released 6 months ago, LoveGame has had 15 years to be 5x platinum eligible.

GL,D is a bonafide megasmash. LoveGame is a hit but is just the fourth biggest single off The Fame.

Looks like "Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)" is the fairer comparison after all.
