Slave clears. I've always hated WW, and Slave is probably one of my favourite songs.

I like Whenever, Whenever it's probably my favorite Shakira single.

But Slave 4 U is like one of the best pop songs and videos of all time.

both are classics but WW is timeless. Its still a bop to this day, slave 4 u feels very of its time.

WW was a worldwide smash. As an 8 yr old boy living in Nigeria with no internet, the song was everywhere. We were all singing it back then, albeit the wrong lyrics 😂 but that song is GOATed.

Shakira has three of the worldwide biggest hits of 2000-2010; Whenever Wherever, Hips don't lie, Waka Waka >>>.

Slave 4 U .. its iconicness is even claimed by the UNESCO.

Strange comparison lol but they're both 11/10. Slave for me though.

Whenever, Wherever is the best song and more bigger

I'm a Slave 4 U best video and best dance

Both songs are a 10/10+, but I like "Whenever, Wherever" more because it's something very original-unique

Peruvian pop song with rock influences. Probably the biggest Peruvian song of all time. It's a strange hybrid, as artists rarely experiment with that genre-fusion.
With panflutes,charango,quena.

"Slave" is typical urban-influenced pop from that era, produced by The Neptunes, but it's incredibly hot—a masterpiece. So well-made.
I honestly think is Pharell magnum opus

Both videos are also great, directed by the same person, with strong orange lighting throughout.

Some fans don't know this, but Shakira was filming the "Whenever, Wherever" video at Universal Studios, and Britney was just two soundstages away from her.. Britney got to meet Shakira and predicted she would become huge in the U.S. and globally. I wonder if Britney was filming or planning her "I'm a Slave" video there at the same time. Both were connected thanks to Francis Lawrence, so these songs are connected

and both singles came out a month apart

This is so difficult because I love both songs equally, but I voted for Slave 4 U.
