nope this next album has nothing to do with ethel cain lore and she said on tumblr that it has at least 8 tracks so it's looking like a full album

Ethel Cain is just an artist name as well as the name of the actual girl in the story, anything she released pre-preachers daughter also has nothing to do with the story!

so is the whole project premiering on November the 1st or just the first single? that's all I wanna know

The story from the perspective of "Ethel Cain's" mother.

the whole ethel cain storyline but also artist name can be confusing tho

 

so like this is her second album as ethel, but not to do with ethel.

 

then we still have the b sides for preachers daighter

 

then there will be preachers wife in like 2028 to do with the storyline…

 

but anyway, perched for the album

I fear, as the years go by, she might lose her interest in delivering the Preacher's [whoever] story and might unfortunately cancel the whole thing.

Also the words that she's posting right now like "Curiosity" are not song titles.

Back in July she said in a Tumblr Q&A that she hasn't even started writing Preacher's Wife (she's always said that it would take years though).

 

So right now there's this project (most likely an album not an EP, and she previously described the songs as "winter-y") and the B-Sides one.

 

Edit: She also has an ambient side project on Soundcloud called Ashmedai. You can check it out if you're into that stuff.
