It's not the artistry that's the problem, her "business" side just needs some better guidance.

 

I'd love to understand the reason behind these two songs being chosen. I personally prefer Gravity but it's still only a good album track. She can and has recorded better so I need to know who decided to release these and why

 

I also miss Universal, her new label is so small so I doubt she'll get as many opportunities for promo and such 

 

If she doesn't give me album news before end of January, I think I may collapse. Even if it's just a quick announcement and release within a few week period before tour I'd be happy 

After Warning Signs and Gravity I really hope that these are just random drops and nowhere near the album. Id rather she shelve the album if it sounds like this and go back to the drawing board. How do we get RIDE and then this mess from the same person???

 

But I also hope that there is some kind of album in the process and she just didn't start the era for it yet. Its been 7 years from her last one....

I don't understand her and whats going on in her career 

This is notably better than Warning Signs, which is probably the worst song she's ever released, completely devoid of that artistry we all associate with her name.

She teased Gravity on socials and fans seemed excited to get it tbh

Ugh, what a shame, another lifeless and basic song 

 

She showed so much artistry with Ride (and still does with her live shows), where has it all gone!? 

Well I'm happy that at least we got 3 new songs this year, more than I thought tbh

 

All enjoyable to great, but Forever is still by far the stand out

Easily the best song she released in a while

i like it a lot. a shame we're never getting an album.

It was on a white background, whoever they hired to make it used some really bad AI and it's added some weird artifacts

I've realised why something hasn't been right with these releases. She needs to get back into Scandinavian studios and with Scandinavian writers/producers. These UK and US sessions are just not quite it 

This is quite a guilty pleasure of mine atm.

I am curious to see if the reason why she's working with mostly UK and US producers is because of her team or not.

Her new management is based in the UK and LA so that makes sense why. She also joined Polydor last year who is UK based and I assume set up the sessions last year.

 

I don't mind her recording in these places but I need some Scandi sessions.

I don't believe for a second that she wanted Warning Signs. She doesn't even have a writing credit on it. Excluding covers, I can't even remember the last time she released a song without her having a credit.

how are the daily streams looking like?

not pretty well since it has a bit over 400k streams overall but still curious
