Somehow people forget a few things: Whenever Gaga has a big hit she SMASHES, whenever she has a global hit it's a MASSIVE HIT and most of the things she says or are related to her gets used by millions of people and becomes iconic: "_____ (insert name) you will always be famous", "there can be 100 people in the room", "Talented, brilliant" or "I was born this way" that are heavily used in pop culture. She's just that *****. And she's GLOBAL.

Fun-fact: When Miley Cyrus was smashing with Flowers she reached a monthly listeners peak of 84 million. So just because you've got a huge hit doesn't mean you'll have THAT many monthly listeners. 

 

Gaga is doing that with only DWAS? If she added a new album she'd absolutely beat Taylor and The Weeknd

Good for her (although that metric is again, pointless - it just shows who has the biggest playlist reach aka streaming payola. The real important metric is artists daily streams top, where she's currently the 17th. Those streams are actually the ones paying her)

Incorrect. They're both important. Having low monthly listeners but high daily streams just shows that a fanbase is mass-streaming an artist to manipulate their stats.

Thank god my fave has both of them, and she's not like The Weeknd where he has a high monthly listeners number yet no one's listening (look at his recent release). Or Gaga, who without that Bruno collab, has like what, 12 million daily streams, so basically 1/9 of those listeners are actually listening to her discography and 1/9 of those are mass-streaming that collab
