I feel like Drums of Death and the Striptease snippet from the CK ad are closer to what Caprisongs was than to Eusexua, the title track. I've kinda set my mind on expecting something ambient or minimal techno or whatever. 

 

The Room of Fools snippet is giving but that's presumably scrapped, no? 

 

Watch it be an another Radical Optimism tea where she throws some random descriptors to hype the audiences, only to release an album with good singles and dud album tracks.

Exactly my thoughts since I heard DoD, the title track is incredible, the rest is not on that level based on the snippets tbh

room of fools and lonely but exciting road (probably titled wanderlust) are both on the album

 

haters lost, i won… they both have similar sonic palettes to the title track and are perfection

 

striptease is probably the only outlier from what it seems

She will def top MAGDALENE. She is extremely confident in this album. And it feels like her magnum opus is about to be delivered.

Very good song! Loved the techno trance influences. Lyrics and vibe  reminded me Burial track Roval Dealers somehow. Very Ray of light too. 
 

Nor a big fan of the tired "Queer club kids" theme nd aesthetics but the song is great. 
 

To me the video is not on the level of Cellophane.

the live version has a very similar track length, and it seems like it's the perfect closing track to wrap up the themes of the album! It's also like eusexua's happier, free sister

 

it's a very cathartic, revelational track and it's so gorgeous… the haters just DONT get it

magdalene cannot be topped as it's the best album of all time but I fear she will deliver another magnum opus, just more oriented towards dance and liberation while Magdalene was towards love and heartbreak
