Arguably, Katy's only offenses are her business ties with Dr Luke, dumbing down the representation of women, and some of her God awful music.

 

Nicki on the other hand, has a strong tendency to surround herself with r*pists… she has made very questionable comments regarding the Orlando hate crime incident… oddly has weaponized the traumatic abuse of another rapper as a gotcha moment… incites her fans to rabidly attack anyone who disagrees with her… parades around pretending she is for female rapper empowerment but yet cannot remain cordial with another woman for more than 5 years… the list goes on…

 

Nicki by far is more guilty, which is upsetting… because… she's actually… very talented.

Didn't Nicki threaten her husband's victim? I think that's even worse than working with Luke again.

 

But in the end they're probably both no good people.

the only "problematic" thing she has done is work with Luke professionally in a studio, and even for that she waited until the case was done. All her other "controversies" have merely been speculations or things blown out of proportion or people not understanding her crass sense of humor. 
 

Meanwhile Nicki has made questionable comments on the regular recently and im not getting into the details as most people have already mentioned them here. 

Katy is dumb but she isn't a horrible person Nicki however there's a reason why she has a beef with all the rap girlies
