Mmh I think it was her idea. We know Katy hasn't chosen singles based on their commercial potential recently, but only by her feelings. And I don't think that's totally wrong, speaking of authenticity.

This has such a summer festival vibe to it I'm so mad they're dropping it as summer comes to an end.. it's giving Harleys in Hawaii coming out in October but less bizarre since it's still technically summer.

if she wanted, she could have a hit with that in Europe, but she probably won't even try to promote it anyhow and then be surprised it flopped 

I have very low expectations for this song commercially but I don't really care since I'm just excited to hear the song. It was my favourite snippet out of the ones she teased (low key should have been the lead).

I am really excited for Friday 

 

This era is such a rollercoaster lol, first the announcement with the cover looked amazing, then she released the worst track she ever released with WW, then great snippets of Lifetime+Nirvama, then rumours of that horrible snippet being the 2nd single (Im his, he's mine), then actually going with the best snippet as 2nd single
