    Lifetimes is definitely a song that'll be used on itvBe reality shows for the next 3 years, specifically Love Island. I can see it smashing Capital FM UK too. Anything else I'm not sure for now

    I wonder if they intentionally picked a bad song as the lead to generate a meta narrative about her and get people talking as a primer for the real smash. (I don't think this is true but also cannot rationalize why WW was ever picked before this). 
    Maybe they feared the Dr Luke backlash and wanted to get that out of the way with a mid song rather than jeopardize the song they had higher hopes for? Idk

    I have a suspicion that Katy didn't want WW song to be released and the label insisted on it. That's why we see such a strange promotion – not a single performance or playlist support.
