What if seeing all this backlash made them rewind and delete all Dr Luke songs including the Kim Petras collab?

Well, that tracklist is kinda fake, the Kim Petras collab is called Gorgeous, so maybe Sexual isn't a real title of any song from the album.

 

Btw Does anyone know which songs were played at the listening parties??

they played 8 songs so it's missing 2, probably Okay & All the Love

I think I'll stay in this thread and avoid the WW single thread and the base. So much toxicity, it's hard to be excited among all this negativity. I don't get why some people are so miserable that they need to **** on our parade. Just state your opinion and get the **** out.

Some people are stuck in hating her for over a decade. I know cuz I joined in 2014, lurked years before and I still recognize some faces. It's disturbing.  

 

WW is a huge ass bop, 143 will be a great album.

Before yesterday, I hadn't logged on here since 2018 & the same faces that were talking **** back then still are now, it's kinda maniacal 

 

Anyway, she ate with the visuals, & I'm excited for her to be back

tbh I didn't think the song was great but the hate she gets is on another level. It really has nothing to do with the music or visuals. They hate HER

Now she could release a promotional single on August 16 or 23 (she would bet on Gimmme Gimme or Nirvana) and officially a second single on the release day on September 20 (she would bet on Lifetimes)

The drama makes me more excited, hope her team doesn't lose faith.

I survived witness too but today is def giving me CTTR 45K predictions, dark red kworb, war flashbacks..... I am considering muting Katy's name to avoid seeing hate tweets on twitter timeline. The negativity is too much and ruining my vibe for 143

Crush doesn't appear on the alleged leaked track list… 

Katy should release 2 singles as "buzz singles" as a double release so that she can test the waters of which song will be better. I feel Gimme Gimme is the strongest, I don't like Lifetimes, but she should release both to see which one is the clear winner.

This honestly doesn't feel as bad to me. It's entirely limited to stans where the Witness hate was from EVERYWHERE. Agree that the negativity is disappointing though. There's a few popular artists on here that I'm not a huge fan of and I just don't listen to their music and don't think about them. No idea why some people feel the need to comment endlessly on something they apparently dislike

Yes it's like they put Katy on a pedestal. 90% of artist bomb with singles and no one cares but katy underperformed and it feels so intense now…. Why the double standard with her

i'm pretty sure luke is involved in pretty much all the tracks so the next song she chooses to release will have his name attached to it as well 

 

the backlash is obviously huge with ww cause it's a female empowerment song produced by a man who abuses women. if his name wasn't attached to it i still think she would've been clowned for releasing something like that in 2024 but it only would've been a couple of viral tweets calling her cringe or "stuck in 2010"

 

i think in the future everyone will look back at this moment when she went back to luke that truly killed her career. witness and smile were bombs but when you reach the heights that she has you can always make a comeback. i fear it will be impossible now, especially if she keeps on working with luke on her next albums as well  

 

i'm still excited for the era tho and can't wait to hear the rest of the album and go see her on tour
