Okay I just re-listened to this today and critics definitely did WAY too much. It's literally a cute 6/10 at worst for me. Def not a 37. 

 

That run from I'm His, He's Mine-Crush-Lifetimes-All The Love & Nirvana is literally so much fun and skip less. Also still think Woman's World made this era DOA. If the lead were good, the think pieces would exist but she wouldn't face half the scrutiny she is now. Ugh she CHOSE for the public scrutiny no shade.

It's that cringy "Sexy confident so intelligent" line in the teaser that instantly killed all the hype.

 

It sounds bad even in the song's context, but by itself, it sounds even worse.

Relistened to this again today and it's not bad as it seems to be. Well yeah, it's not the best of the best or even that good but this album is a cute rotation when it comes to the gym. 

I heard a random 143 album track (think it was Nirvana) at Subway yesterday and then heard Smile (title track) while I was on my afternoon break, maybe she is coming after all
