It'll be interesting to see what Katy & team decide to do next with this album cycle in terms of singles/promotion. ALL THE LOVE definitely needs to be a single and I can see it being a cute winter hit (w/proper promotion) with WONDER closing out the era in the spring perhaps. Both songs are beautiful, more in the vein of classic KP, and very radio friendly. ALL THE LOVE is top 5 in KP's discography for me. My hope is that they can bring back a little life to 143 and set her up to be in a better position for the next album cycle, whenever that may be.

 

I think the longer extended rollout & single choices didn't do it any favors, as we've seen. Plus the lack of playlisting of course. 

Shorter rollouts (1-2 months) seem to work best, here's how I wish it could have gone:

 

May 22nd - KP changes layout @ 1:43am, announces lead single @ 1:43pm

May 31st - ALL THE LOVE (Song & MV)

July 12th - NIRVANA (opportunity to capitalize on the amazing transition & film two cohesive music videos)

August 2nd - ALBUM + LIFETIMES MV (3rd Single)

To be fair, LIFETIMES came out just about 2 months ago. It hasn't even been 3 months since WOMAN'S WORLD! Crazy how time flies this era 

a shame she didn't work with Duke Dumont and Alesso again for this album. Their style fits so well with what she was trying to do in 143. After Lifetimes, it needed to go harder with the house inspried music.

It needed a bigger drop for it to be the lead. I love it but it took a few listens to appreciate the drop or lack of.

I agree. I think in general 143 has a great potential that surely hasn't been completely developed, that's the most objective critic the album should have gotten, unlike how things have gone. 

So is that "Okay" song not happening? Scrapped completely?

Need  I'm His, He's Mine  feat Doechii  and  Lifetimes wiht a little bit mix of acoustic but also album version chorus   performances

You're most definitely wrong... I hope lol no way in hell that she's not gonna release those songs at some point. 

The album is criminally short and would benefit from a couple extra bops. I need OK to be a bop, not like the other bonus tracks. 

 

Has any insider even heard it who can spill some info on what it sounds like?
