with yesterdays update it had 25 spins at pop radio  since it's debut Thursday night.

I think Sabrina's album can pull huge numbers going by the insane U.S streaming numbers for both her singles. For reference, these U.S streaming numbers she's pulling for her singles are on par with thank u, next and SOUR singles. Both those albums opened with massive SEA units. TUN did 244k SEA and SOUR did 223k SEA. If Sabrina call maintain the momentum until August she's setting up to have a big debut.

They def won't be pulling these numbers still in 2 months. She'll need another single to carry the album. Tbh the album should be coming early July. No idea why it's coming late August

Her team was likely still working on finishing it and now they need a bit of a delay for vinyl production. Sabrina was smart to release a song to take advantage of the hype from end of Eras and then Coachella regardless of whether her album was done or not.

 

Sabrina originally just calling it a "little song to put out before Coachella" signals that her team was likely waiting for a proper hit to start an album rollout. It's a common tactic to release a few loose songs to find a hit that will then become the lead single.  Expresso smashing so much likely surprised her team a bit.

Late august is perfect she can easily have a third number 1 hit on the Hot 100 if 1 and 2 go number 1. This would be a good campaign to secure an AOTY nom,a best new artist win over beson boone etc and best pop vocal album win . IMAGINE a campaign for an album with 3 no 1s. Grammy noms and wins..also fresh off voters minds 

Been following her since Evolution came out and seeing her smash this hard makes me so happy   it's a shame it took this long (justice for On Purpose, Almost Love, Alien and a long list of underrated bops) but she deserves this so much
