The good sis gave up on her promising career after big promo going after this break out performance single. Is it all because of lackluster music video that failed to serve with the song? Or she lacked the talent to extend her post x-factor career? 

 

Yet another what if? Situation where she could become uk main pop girl. So what do you think about how this song rollout completely shut down her career.

 

 

No fanbase. The X Factor had long been in decline by the time Louisa won. People were over talent show winners and thus Syco weren't putting the effort into launching Louisa.

 

The song is a bop…..but it was too little too late. Yeah a better music video might've helped but everything was an uphill battle by this point.

She could've been a main girl if this had been her debut single with a big video. 
 

Think up until the Training Season video, this is the most disappointed I'd been about a pop girl video. The wasted potential, ugh!

I love the song and video. Sadly the label had stopped investing in Louisa at this point. She had 1 top 10, 1 top 20 and her big collab with Olly Murs (yes Olly was a big name at that point) bombed on the charts too, this song was released but with no playlist, radio or additional support if I remember correctly and then she ended up disappearing because of it.

 

She was young, she just needed a bigger push, more collabs and she's still only 26 now. 

 

Louisa should've stuck with the soul/R&B music that made people fall in love with her on the X-factor. Instead Syco pushed her down the route of becoming another generic pop girl.

Honestly, she was just too faceless and the music she released after The X Factor was basic and unoriginal.

 

People were forgetting her even just a few weeks after the show and her winner single was one of the lowest charting ever.

 

She brought nothing new to the table, wasn't particularly talented/interesting enough to set her apart and her homophobic past killed what could have been a core fanbase for her. I never really saw it for her.

Cheap generic faceless song, cheap visuals, (this might be an unpopular opinion) unpleasant vocals etc.

She had potential but by her season of XF most people had already stopped watching it so she didn't have the name recognition and public interest that acts from the show's heyday had once she released her own music. They started off strong with "Tears" and having her collab with Clean Bandit shortly after her win was a smart choice, but then they just seemed to not be bothered to put the work in to build her after that and just gave up as soon as she started underperforming.

The song was great the video SUCKED also no promo.
