Of all the confusing things RCA has done in this rollout, not at least sending All Yours to radio is probably the one that confuses me the most. It's still outstreaming Candy Paint (and everything else on the album) almost three weeks after release. It could definitely pick up some spins on one or more of Urban, Urban AC or Rhythmic. They're truly treating this album like it was never even released at all which is so WEIRD

I think they won't send anything to radio unless it goes somewhat viral. They didn't even send Candy Paint. I'm just mad they spent their money shooting a video for CP when All Yours is literally there. Normani could also pump out some TikToks, it could gain traction there

Now now. Not too much on my girl. Y'all not getting no 16 counts from an All Yours video. CP still has the opportunity to smash. The most potential hits right now are Still, CP, and All Yours.

 

The worst thing about this rollout was truly sending out 1:59 as the first single. That should've been All Yours. I was thinking that might have been a label decision, but recent interviews are looking like that's what Mani wanted. 

 

 

Is she releasing a MV for Candy Paint ?

 

I hope she shot one because she shouldn't be able to shoot one with dance moves due to her recent injury lol

I'm on my second listen and Take My Time suddenly hit me. I didn't like it at first. Big Boy, Still are BOPS. Lights On is so mesmerizing. As soon as Insomnia played I recognized those beautiful harmonies in the background

I never expected big boy to become my most played (non-single) when I first listened. Oh big boy, the HIT that you are bling bling BLAOW

We are listening to it. Nation is small and can only do so much as a lot of us have jobs and other priorities. Now how will they get people outside of her fanbase to take interest in her album? Some of her fans act like she isn't a major label artist...

The way Distance is such a grower. At first I found the verses pretty boring, now i love the little mumblings 

All Yours is a bop and a hit. 4 Million streams no Promo Candy Paint and 159 were struggling to do that.

Coke does not become Coke by flinging it on shelves and hoping for the best. Mcdonald's did not become McDonald's by people just liking the taste and telling a friend. Each brand promoted tf out of their ish. Not just with spend but with innovation.

 

Similarly, today's top stars did not become who they are by releasing music and people "just listening to it".  They went into market and promoted tf out of it. 

 

That tweet is really not doing what it thinks it is doing. 

 

Something is clearly awry over at team Mani. Be it the label or something else. So even if something were to magically catch on, we can't even be sure there's a resource in place to do anything for it.

The way this went is so unfortunate. This album is SO good and deserves to be a huge success.
