oh no an artist releases sad music during the summer oh the horror its not happy and giving summer vibes its almost as if this is the story she envisioned for the album was melodramatic and depressive lol

Has anyone bought the new deluxe tracks? I don't exactly have iTunes or Apple Music, so...

 

Sidenote, I just copped a cassette since £5 + free shipping + a signed artcard is hard to resist. I have the album on every format now!

lastnightsmascara is incredible. Best track on the album period. Like what was the thought process to exclude this bop from the og album…

There's a noticeable difference in the intricacy of her solo production vs. the other songs tbh - at least instrumental-wise.

 

That said she's so young and will certainly get better / more sophisticated over time. She's in a great spot for going forward being able to make her own stuff end-to-end 

The bonus tracks are okay… I mean, they're demos after all but either way, "Last Nights Mascara" is cute.

 

I'm looking forward to listening to the HMV bonus tracks… I heard they're already out there, in LQ though.

tears for fun is really good. i'm not entirely sure about the album as a whole but there's never a point that i'm not actually enjoying it. i think i'm just struggling with so much melodrama squished into one space, could do with cutting loose a bit more often.

 

i can see me buying a £5 tape at some pt today anyway cos i'm a sucker for trashy formats that i can clutter up the house with and i actually have a tape player

They surfaced last night in HQ. Eleven is a collapse! Her ear for bops is unmatched, like WOW! 

Solid album, the closing track "Where Did You Go" is stun. 

why are the bonus demos not on US apple music?

Thinking of buying a signed CD to show some cute support.

Click that pre-add and the album should appear in your library (although only the 2 demos are available with this version, the rest of the og tracks are greyed out, idk why). Try it a couple of times cuz there's some weird glitch.

Cycles bops hard

This is a solid album.  It blends together at the end; I cut the last four songs.  But the first 2/3s are strong!  I love Tears For Fun, Astronaut, Vertigo, 19th Hour, Miss Me Too, and Anything.
