it seems like since 2024 started; the music gods have delivered EVERY FRIDAY or EVERY WEEK. we've seen new projects/music come from stars like ariana grande, beyonce, cardi b, camilia cabello, doja cat, tyla etc. and even confirmed upcoming projects from the likes of billie ellish, taylor swift, dua lipa, and many more. is 2024 gonna be that YEAR from music?

every week since 2024 started, we've gotten at least something from a major musical act. chile.... 2024 don't make that gag.

    it's a trend i've seen every 4 years 

     

    2012 -> 2016 -> 2020 -> 2024

     

    it feels like each of those years the music industry reaches a peak before slowing down until it explodes again

     

    but yes 2024 has ended 2023, 2022 and 2021 respectively

    we only 4 months in and the music in every genre has not disappointed. 

     

    2016 might have to pass the torch. 

    i'm honestly dumfounded by how many huge artists are releasing this year

    It's been kinda gaggy so far ngl. It just leaves me worried since all of the big releases are happening January-June which will leave a specially dry second semester of the year :biblionny:

    you mean since March? cause in january-february it was pretty empty, only kali uchis and usher dropped an album and as for the singles only Texas Hold Em, Hiss and yes and happened
